20 Week Sonogram Our Little Bambino

So here is our little bambino! What a cutie, baby beeber was moving all over the place, the sonographer said it was already stubborn because it would not give us a good face shot-hmmm wonder where it comes from??? Everything went so great at the doctor appointment, heart beat was between 141 and 145, so now I am set on it being a boy for some reason. I just have this feeling. The heart chambers, the kidney and everything was developing perfectly! It was such a relief to hear and see everything. The baby is kicking up a storm and Scott loves feeling my belly at night, that is when the most action occurs. I was measuring an August 11th due date, so hopefully the baby will come before In-service teacher days which start August 10th. I am hoping to find a long term substitute over the next few weeks. I plan on taking the first quarter off, which will be about 10 weeks. I do have a few more photos, take a look!

Austin Frau Fest 2010

So we had a fabulous trip to Austin at Frau Fest 2010. The first day was perfect weather, 80 degrees, so we sat by the pool all day long! Our first night we ate out downtown at Moonshine and everyone had a blast. Although, I have to admit it was extremely difficult not to drink, this was the first time I actually wanted a cocktail. I think it was because the weather was so nice and we were in such a fun atmosphere. The next day we had lunch with our Grandmother Mimi at North by Northwest, followed by a Barton Creek mall shopping extravaganza. For dinner that night we had fabulous New York style pizza, that was SOOOO good. The next day it rained all day, and we stayed in our pjs all day, it was great! It was so relaxing to lay on the couch all day long! On our last night we went to a fun Mexican place. Overall it was a great trip, and it was nice to get a taste of spring. Enjoy the pics!

My First Sip and See

So this weekend I attended my first "Sip and See" to see little Charlotte Grace Dugger. She is absolutely adorable and I just can never get enough of her! I like to spoil her. Here we are at the party, isnt she the cutest! I also had to get her a bikini for this summer so she would be stylin'

Now she is ready for summer! She is here with her Dad Steve Dugger. Emily, her Mom, and I have been friends forever and she is the one I call about EVERYTHING baby. Now that she has a little one she has ben so helpful with everything throughout the pregnancy. I cant wait for Charlotte Grace to meet our little babe in August!

First Baby Purchase

So I dont think Scott has any idea how much stuff a new baby really needs, or at least I think he is in denial. Saturday afternoon I wanted to stop in USA Baby to see if this carseat would fit the "Strollee" that my cousin Cindy gave me. What do you know.....they are having a One DAY Sale!!! So we ended up getting the entire travel system for $100 off, I was super pumped! Scott was not. He thinks it was an impulse purchase, but what he doesnt understand is how long I have been researching car seats and strollers and I knew this is the one I wanted.

I love it! Im so excited I may even want to get a fake baby to put in it to practice, hehe. It is a Chicco, and I have heard very great things, so I look forward to putting it to use in August. Hope you like it!

I am definitely going to register at USA Baby, I think Target as well. Who knows.....Happy Monday!

Baby Beeber Name

So now that the blog has gone public I thought I should explain why we are calling our baby "Baby Beeber." Scott and I have been together almost 4 years now and after about 3 or 4 months of dating we came up with a nickname for each other "Beeber." We do not know where it came from or what it means, but it stuck. So we now forever have called each other "Beeber" "Beebs" "Beebis" and lots of other fun and creative renditions. So before we were pregnant we always talked about our future baby as "Baby Beeber" and now it has stuck.

I felt Baby Beeber kick 4 times last night! Although it was very light kicks, it was still super cool! Then Scott even felt a little kick too. The best time to feel is after dinner laying down flat. Gradnma Mae mae tried to feel a few but the baby wouldnt kick for her. Sorry Mae Mae, maybe next time.

Cant wait for frau fest in 8 days!

Spring Break Fever

So it has reached over 40 degrees here and you would think we are having a heat wave. The students at school are wearing shorts, flip flops, capris like we are in Florida or something. Spring Break fever is definitely in the air. The students have been out of control, and SB10 is still a week away! Ahhhh! Maybe Im feeling especially non-spring because I havent had my hair highlighted in almost 6 months. Trying to go all-natural is starting to become a bit frustrating. I think  I miss being a blonde. What do you think blonde? or brunette? Hmmm. Spring always makes me want to lighten my hair, why is that?

Austin countdown t-minus 10 days. Woo woo!

Did I mention I bought a maternity swimsuit!?!?!? Yes, that is right. I knew I was going to need one for Austin and our Florida family trip as well as my growing belly over the summer. Hopefully it will grow/stretch with me. Its very cute. Do you like it? Very stylish, I know. Ive started walking since the weather has been nice and it has made all the difference. I am no longer tired as much and I am hoping to keep my figure as long as possible, we will see how that goes.

On another note....I cannot wait to go to the doctor, two weeks from Friday! I have never looked forward to doctor appointments until I became pregnant and saw the baby on the sono machine. It melts my heart every time I see the little bugger.

We found a house!!!

This weekend we looked at 6 houses and put an offer on one and they accepted! We still have to go through inspections this week, but most likely we will be getting this house. We are scheduled to close April 8th and will have to do a little remodling to the bathrooms and some paint. I tried to scan in some baby pictures but the scanner here at work did not do a very good job, so I promise after March 19th I will have ALL my sono pics up. Also, I will start taking baby belly pics and try to post some of those. It is a little difficult not having our own office/computer setup to get anything up on to the computer.

I felt the baby this weekend flutter, it was the craziest feeling ever. I kind of got a little freaked out and then got really excited, and hopefully in the next week or so I will be able to feel Baby Beeber kicking! Summer 2010 is going to be full of babies, and I cannot wait to see our little bundle of joy!
