Harry's First Sleepover with cousin Johnny

Last night Harry was so lucky-he went to Aunt Sasa's house to spend the night with cousin Johnny. We are so thankful, the Hills are the best. I think Harry had a blast!!!

It's a BOY!

Thomas "Tommy" Scott Martin has arrived! We welcomed him into the world March 28th at 1:09 PM, he weighed 8 lbs and 3 ozs and is 20 inches long. He is just absolutely perfect! He came so fast that he did have a little bruising on his face, so a few of the pictures you can see some discoloration. Nurses say he should be fine in a few days. Harry came to meet his baby brother yesterday and was very interested in him, he even gave him 3 kisses and a balloon. See just a few photos below.

We started the pitocin at 5:20 am at 2 cm dilated, now just waiting for the epideral. Will keep you posted!!!

39 weeks M2

Change of Plans...

So we have made a decision to go ahead with the induction tomorrow morning. We had a crazy night last night full or contractions and headed to the hospital, but were sent home because they were about 10 minutes apart. So, to avoid another 2:30 am wake up call to my Mom and a 3 hour hospital visit and no baby, we have decided to induce tomorrow morning at 39 weeks. Please check back for update and say some prayers for a fast and healthy delivery & baby. We checked into the hospital at 8 pm to start cervidil. Check back soon.

Go KU!

So the baby will be here in 11 days or less, we have gone a little picture crazy of the belly. You just forget so fast how big you get, so I want to document everything until bambino arrives. We got a sitter last night to go out to dinner with my parents and sister and watch the KU game. Here are some photos.

Updates

So we just returned from the doctor appointment and after our growth scan the baby is measuring 7 lbs 13 oz and looking great! I was not having any contractions during my non-stress test but I was up all night with contractions. I am 1 cm dilated and 50% effaced, so baby is slowly getting ready to arrive here in the world!

We went ahead and pushed back our induction date to April 5th at St Lukes South, with hopes that the baby will come on its own sometime in the next 13 days. We would hate to disturb the baby, seeing as how cozy it is in there. 

We just wanted to keep you all posted, I know we are all getting very excited!!!

Say some prayers the baby will come soon and be healthy!

38 Weeks M2

Whoa belly! That is what I say every time I pass a mirror, I sometimes forget how big I am-but surprisingly Im still feeling good. I feel so much better this pregnancy than with Harry, I think it is due to the weather.

 I will head to the doctor this Friday for a growth scan and check to decide if we want a March 28th or April 4th induction. Say some prayers this baby can come on its own when its ready. We are getting so excited, but seriously still have a lot to do. I have one more piece of furniture to put together, I want to set the new video monitor up, organize my closet, and finish our back hall organization project. But I do have my bags packed and car seat in the car, and that is all we really need. I will post again on Friday our decision!!!

Updates

37 weeks today-full term!

I hosted a bridal shower last week for one of my girlfriends and it was so fun to celebrate. The wedding is in May, and we already have a sitter booked. I am SO excited!!!

Mimi and Papa Bill came to visit from Austin, TX and Harry and Johnny loved every minute of having them in town. 

Harry & Johnnys play room at May May and Bampa's house. They love to play with balls, dance to any kind of music, shoot baskets, race cars and anything else that has to do with sports.

Bampa's favorite thing to do is take his Grandsons to play golf. They both LOVE golf, it is so cute and funny. Harry has become quite the putter, he made a 12 inch putt!!!

This was Harry this morning, he is 19 months old today. He loves sitting in the dining room chairs thinking he is a big boy. 

Harry's first trip to Winstead's last weekend, he loved it!!!
