July & Birthday celebration

We had a few play dates and we celebrated my birthday. We went to the swimming pool with George Martin and we had Caroline Bowen over to play. Harry loves them both!!! July is a busy month and super hot but we are still having fun! I need to post some pictures of our blow up pool, Harry spends hours in it!

First Steps....

So yesterday was a very big day, more for Mommy than for Harry. I think he took one step yesterday morning, but I wasnt really sure if it was an actual step. So when Scott got home from work we were encouraging him to take some steps and Harry just stared and laughed at us. Finally he just started walking to me and took 5 STEPS!!!! I could not believe my eyes. This little baby was WALKING!

I teared up and was screaming so Harry started laughing so hard. He thinks taking steps is just the funniest thing ever. He ended up taking 5-7 steps several times last night. I couldnt sleep last night I was just too excited, is that weird? I think I should be more scared than excited.

Wild man Harry is now on the loose! LOOK OUT!

11 & 30

Melissa turned 30 on July 14th and Harry turned 11 months on July 14th! So it was a big day. We celebrated with dinner group Jeff Enger and Melissa turning 30!

I was able to attend a wedding shower for Libby who is getting married on Crested Butte mountain in August. It was a great time catching up with some high school buddies!

2 weeks!

Yes, we spent 2 full weeks at Plum Lake this year. We had a blast. It holds such a special place in our hearts. It is where Scott proposed to me July 24, 2008 and we married June 20, 2009. So taking Harry to Plum Lake for the first time was very special. We made so many memories and we cannot wait to go back. Harry is confused about why he does not get to wake up looking at the lake every morning and snuggling with his MayMay and Bampa. We will hopefully be back there soon enough. Here are a few photos. Sorry so many, it was too hard to choose. While we were there, Harry got his 2 front teeth up top! That made for an interesting first couple of days, but after they finally cut through he was great!
