Work Shower at Mill Valley

Last Friday was my work shower at school. They showered me with so many great gifts, I am so lucky to have such a wonderful staff-I truly feel like I am part of a family. We had a great time and here are a few photos from a co-worker.

This weekend I am hoping to get the bookshelf together in the nursery and to pick out a rug, so I will post updated nursery pictures as soon as possible.

Doctor Appt Update

Just returned from the doctor and took my glucose test and everything looked great. That was a relief. The baby's heartbeat was 134 and baby beeber has been kicking, turning and rolling and stretching like crazy! During class I tend to hold on to my belly because it feels like the baby may come out, so funny. I start my 3rd trimester a week from Monday, kind of hard to believe. It is starting to feel real, that soon Scott and I will be parents! We get more and more excited each day. Pray for a cool summer!

Short and Sweet

I will keep this short and sweet, seeing as our doctor appointment is tomorrow and Im sure I will have something to post about it tomorrow.
This weekend we had our first baby shower-and it was my first "couples" baby shower I had ever been to. It was very interesting to have men there, they looked at some of the gifts with a confused faced. Such as the sleepers, they had no idea what they were. We had a great time and even scored a few gifts!

Another Busy Weekend

So it was another busy weekend here. I hosted a fabulous baby shower for my closest friend, Courtney. Here are a few pics, we had a blast. Cannot wait to meet her little boy in July!

Today, I finally got Scott to put together our crib, it looks adorable. I know its the beginning stages but I had to take a few pictures. I love it!

So I know we have so much more to do, but I am very pleased with the way things are coming. I am so grateful Scott put the crib together. As for the bedding, I am going to do all white and I think I am going to paint our old white dresser yellow, or try and find a yellow dresser. I am still trying to find the right rug, but I know I want one that covers the entire room.
